GotAlotToSay is being designed so guardian involvement, consent, limited access and data minimization are part of the architecture—not optional add-ons.
Guardian-managed participation
For children and other guardian-managed participants, the platform is designed around an adult account holder who creates or manages the participant profile and controls applicable permissions.
Consent choices
The platform's consent model separates core participation from more sensitive capabilities. Microphone use, automatic activity-scoped audio capture, camera/video, media storage and professional sharing can be represented as distinct permissions rather than a single all-or-nothing choice.
Voice and image recordings
A child's voice, photograph or video can be highly sensitive personal information. GotAlotToSay's milestone-media architecture is intended to require authorization before storage, use private storage rather than public media libraries, limit playback to authorized users and support deletion and retention controls.
No pressure to speak
GotAlotToSay is designed to support communication choices and gradual practice. The platform is not intended to punish, shame or penalize a participant for not speaking.
Schools
When the platform is used through a school or other organization, additional privacy obligations and agreements may apply. Organizational deployment will require appropriate review rather than assuming that ordinary family-account practices are sufficient.
Advertising and profiling
GotAlotToSay is not being designed to sell children's communication data, build advertising profiles from participant progress, or use child voice/video recordings for targeted advertising.
Before broad child-directed production use, RCO Communications LLC intends to obtain appropriate review of parental-consent, children's privacy, school-data and media practices.
